How it works
What's the process?
Every floor gets the same five steps, because the steps are what make a coating last. We start with crack and chip repair, then grind the entire slab with a diamond grinder so the base coat can soak in and bite. Acid etching is faster and cheaper. We don't do it, ground concrete holds coatings and etched concrete eventually lets go. Once the polyurea base is down we broadcast your flake blend into it by hand, scrape and clear the excess, and seal everything under a UV-stable polyaspartic top coat. You can walk on it that evening. Park on it about a day later.

What does that include?
Our $8 per square foot covers the whole job. Surface prep and minor crack repair. Diamond grinding. The polyurea base coat. Your choice of flake color and size. The polyaspartic top coat. All materials, all labor, and the cleanup. A typical 2-car garage runs around $3,200 to $4,400 and most 3-car garages land between $6,000 and $7,000. Nothing appears on the invoice that wasn't on the quote.

Wasatch Coatings is a veteran-owned, family-run coatings company based in Eagle Mountain. It started when I coated my own garage floor and the neighbors kept asking who did the work. Here's the standard we run on: we answer the phone, we show up when we said we would, we call if we're running late, and we treat your home with respect. That shouldn't be remarkable in home services. Somehow it is.
